• Please note that UWW published a revised rulebook, effective
  January 1, 2026 (https://cdn.uww.org/2025-
  12/wrestling_rules_1.pdf).
• As WCL has adopted the UWW rulebook (with Canadian
  modifications), any international revisions are applicable as soon as
  they are published.
• New rules are in effect for Guelph Open, U SPORTS Championships
  & Canadian Championships.
• Other rulebook revisions are being presented to the BOD at the end
  of February and are expected to be published in early March.
