New Event Discipline Policy – Effective Immediately

Please be advised that a new Event Discipline Policy was formally approved at last night’s Sask Wrestling Board of Directors meeting and is now in full effect.

This policy has been developed to strengthen our commitment to providing a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment at all Sask Wrestling–sanctioned events. It outlines clear expectations for conduct and establishes consistent procedures for addressing inappropriate behaviour.

The policy applies to all participants, including:

• Athletes
• Coaches
• Officials
• Spectators
• Volunteers and event staff

Our goal is to ensure that every individual attending our competitions experiences a positive, enjoyable, and professionally managed event. The new guidelines support fairness, reinforce accountability, and ensure that any disciplinary matters can be addressed promptly and consistently.

Additional details regarding the policy—such as behavioural expectations, reporting procedures, and potential consequences for violations—will be circulated in our newsletter, on our website and  to all clubs. Please review and share this information with your coaches, athletes, and members to ensure full compliance.
