UWW INTERNATIONAL UNIFORMS

  • As of January 21, 2026, UWW has updated their uniform policy
    (https://cdn.uww.org/2026-01/uniform_regulations_jan2025_final.pdf)
  • Key points include:
o Red elements are not permitted on blue uniforms, & vice versa.
o The red & blue markings must be placed correctly & clearly visible, as per the
    regulations.
o The athlete’s name & country code must appear in the prescribed locations &
    formats.
o The size & placement of sponsor logos must fully comply with the established
    limits & approved areas.
o Underwear (shorts) must not be visible or extend beyond the wrestling singlet.
  • The revised uniform regulations will be strictly enforced at all competitions.
  • WCL has ensured that national team singlets meet these regulations & are
compliant. However, previous versions of WCL singlets may not be.
  • It is important that athletes wear the provided singlets & adhere to the other
regulations. Failure to do so may result in fines, which will be the
    responsibility of the athlete.
  • Athletes have been advised & the information is being provided any time they
    receive a WCL uniform kit.
