Join a Sask Wrestling Committee
Sask Wrestling is seeking passionate and engaged individuals to help shape the future of wrestling in Saskatchewan by serving on one of our standing committees. Committee members play a vital role in supporting the Board of Directors, providing expertise, and helping advance the organization’s strategic priorities. Whether you are a coach, official, athlete, parent, club representative, or community leader, your experience and perspective can help strengthen wrestling across the province.
High Performance Technical Committee
The High Performance Committee provides guidance and oversight on athlete and coach development, talent identification, provincial team programming, and high-performance initiatives. Committee members help ensure Saskatchewan athletes and coaches have the resources, opportunities, and pathways necessary to achieve success at national and international levels.
Grassroots Development Committee
The Grassroots Development Committee focuses on growing participation and strengthening wrestling opportunities throughout Saskatchewan. Members support initiatives related to recruitment, retention, club development, school programming, and community outreach to ensure a strong foundation for the sport at all levels.
Administration Committee
The Administration Committee assists with governance, policy development, operational planning, and organizational effectiveness. Members help review policies, procedures, risk management practices, and strategic initiatives that support the long-term sustainability of Sask Wrestling.
Nominations Committee
The Nominations Committee is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and recommending qualified candidates for Board and committee positions. Members help ensure Sask Wrestling maintains strong leadership through transparent, fair, and effective succession planning processes.
Finance Committee
The Finance Committee provides oversight and recommendations regarding budgeting, financial planning, reporting, and resource allocation. Members work closely with staff and the Board to support sound financial management and ensure organizational accountability and sustainability.
